Last Wednesday we took our sweet cat to the vet's for the last time. He had got much worse from his tumour very rapidly since the weekend and had stopped eating, so there was nothing else that could be done for him.
Saying goodbye to him was very hard. He was a part of our family for nine years and we are missing him very much, the house seems empty without him.
Blogging has not been my top priority recently, and reading challenges have gone out of the window, but hopefully I will be posting more regularly soon.

Just got back from vacation to see this. We lost our beloved Oskar-kitty this spring after 14 years, and miss him terribly, so I am full of sympathy for you. Get back to reading and blogging when you can. Take care.
So sorry to hear about your cat! It's very hard to lose and animal--they become very much a part of the family!
Take comfort from the fact that he had a secure and happy life with you and that he realised that.
